My Spouse and I both had the Filet of Salmon, lunch-time salad table d'hote special.
The salad is gigantic and the filet of Salmon is always made to perfection. The Potato soup and/or soup of the day are always excellent. For dessert we had Blueberry cheese cake and coffee. We were served by MIKE P. Mike always goes the "extra mile" for us. The restaurant was quite crowded, but we got served very quickly.
This restaurant is near Walmart on Decarie Blvd.

We had a reservation for 35 people for a surprise birthday dinner. When we arrived, the tables weren't set up and everyone was scattered throughout the bar. Yes, it was a Saturday night and yes, it was very busy but we made a reservation for a reason. Our waiter was a bit sassy which we didn't appreciate. Overall, the food was super good and we had a fun night but the customer service could have been a lot better!
Tip: get the chicken tenders and caeser salad!

It's the second time that we visit this restaurant. The difference this time is that we ordered valued steaks including most expensive 20oz cowboy steak & classic sirloin. Honestly, it's real meal in Baton Rouge. Tellement bon!!! It's also the first time I ate sweat potato fries. Better taste than French fries. However, I have to say creamy potato soup is more than creamy...looks like mashed potato. Nothing special for salad. Finally we paid $82 plus tips. Not cheap but the taste is much much better than our first time here. Worth to try but never order cheap stuffs. You would be disappointed then.

Had dinner at Baton Rouge steak house last week while on business to visit CP Rail. Best steak dinner I've ever had anywhere. Fast and friendly service all with a smile. Would recommend it to anyone to try it out for dinner and a few cocktails. Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks again.
