What an endearing, lovable place to have tea in an authentic British décor and atmosphere. You just feel that you are transported to a different era in England. I recommend having the Blueberry Scones with your favorite tea. Enjoy!

This is a tea salon that both has great selection and great service, it's also very quaint and cozy.

We shared the summer picnic plate, which was nice and added some extra curried devils eggs (which are superb), but the real gem was the scone, it was perfect. We liked it enough to ask for another one as a treat for later.

The cream of earl grey tea was very nice but I have to admit I was not keen on the rose tea we got. The date desert was good.

The service was impeccable and the ability to sit outside and enjoy the sun while having tea was simply delightful.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. We reserved but were told that after Oct 3rd they would no longer be taking reservations. We were seated on the top floor by the window . You are able to choose the size of teapot and there is a good selection of tea. We went with the Norfolk breakfast. We ordered 3 selections of sandwiches and 3 cakes which was more than enough for the 3 of us. Food is not served in the traditional tea style and some are not suited for sharing (egg sandwich)Lemon drizzle cake was heavonly!Price was reasonable.

Not many tea rooms in my coffee loving city. The salon de thé cardinal was a great find! Like having a cuppa in my living room but having someone serve me! Menu is limited but all we tasted was delicious: avocado sandwich, salad, scones 'n clotted cream... Yum... This is a fun part of town to boot.
