We stopped at Christian Faure Patisserie for a warming cup of tea (on a cold day) and it would have been rude not to have a cake
I had what looked like a custard pie- it was delicious. My friend had the mango and white chocolate tart which she said was very good.
All the cakes and pastries looked delicious.

The patisserie is located nearby to Hotel Nelligan where we were staying. We stopped by for a morning pastry and coffee and wound up adding quiche for a nice breakfast. We went back the next day and had the same. Can't say enough about the food quality! (And we've been to Paris) Conveniently located across the street from the Archaeological Museum of Montreal that opens at 10am, so a great place to stop beforehand.

We came in, grabbed some goodies and took out.

Chaotic inside, but in a good way, great vibe, good place to people watch.

Patisseries.....stunning.

We left with marshmallows, cakes and half a dozen macaroons. Every single mouthful was a culinary masterpiece.

Worth the visit.

Yummy selection of pastries and baked goods. The gaufre and the macaroons were tasty. Service great. Awesome ambiance and decor.

We went at about 4pm in the afternoon. Line was long. Service was slow. No option to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry on site even though there were open tables (we were told tables were closed and no one else would be seated). We sat outside on the sidewalk to eat. Coffee was ok but daughter got a mocha that was undrinkable. Overall it was very disorganized.
