Let me start off by staying, this place was a pleasant surprise for me. I didn't actually pick this hotel, it was pre-arranged for me via a work client. That being said, would I have picked this place knowing what I know now? Absolutely. The service at the front desk was lovely. I even got a free room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. The noise level from outside events was loud but given where the hotel is situated (right in the middle of the action in downtown Montreal), it was actually not half bad and not a concern. The room was clean, well equipped, very modern. Overall I was impressed. I do have 3 little suggestions to make though, and this is just the interior designer in me talking.
1. The space near the elevator is a bit too dark. It feels a bit ominous or kind of like being in a nightclub. If that's the intent then great! If its not, then maybe looking at adding either lighter walls there or more lighting in general would be good.
2. I loved the design of the bathroom except I have to wonder if the person designing it actually sat down on the toilet before deciding to install a full length mirror immediately beside the toilet. It makes for a weird experience of watching yourself "go" from a little too close up. I'll just leave it at that :).

3. Try to get a larger shelf or tray in the actual shower so that anyone using the supplied complimentary shampoo/conditioner bottles can actually have a place to put them. The tiny wall mounted dish there doesn't really work all that well.
Suggestions aside, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an awesome stay!More
