Outstanding dining experience. Staff that is friendly and courteous. The meals are creative and delicious and of course, it’s a BYOB Restaurant.

First time to this restaurant, situated by the bridge in Laval just before Boisbriand.
The ambiance of this old stone house is charming. I was there on a Sunday the main floor was almost full 2 tables left without reservation. We did get seated we where 3 and the other table of 2 showed up right after seem to have reservation the main floor was now full. So to be save do make reservation. The second floor is also nice was not open that evening then again if they had reservation maybe they would open.

The appetizer are Delicious and beautiful presentation. Our main course was all good.

Definitely a place to return and enjoy a nice meal they do have a terrace for summer months.
It is a bring your own wine and there is a liquor store close buy.

Have been to this restaurant 4 times over the last 3 years. Another good experience, food great and service very good, Menu is on their web site online with a good choice of Table H'ote. Also check site for 15% discount on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

4 of us had a very nice birthday dinner here. All was very tasty and well prepared. From the sweet potato potage through to dessert everything was very good.

We tried 2 appetizers - the Calmari and the warmed Brie. Both excellent, although a few more crackers for the brie would be welcomed.

The scallops, which they advise they are known for, were large and well prepared - very good. The 'Inspiration du Chef' was 2 legs of Duck, which were surprisingly deep-fried, but tender and tasty. A rack of lamb completed our choices.

The only miss would have been the mushroom risotto - neither person cared for it. Both found it a bit too rich to be paired with the scallops.

Finally dessert - we tried 3! Decadent chocolate cake, lime tarte and creme brulé. Nothing was left of any of them, even after a large meal and ample wine.

Service was smooth, and the main floor dining room is cozy. The very old building is a nice complement to the dining experience.

We were excited to try this restaurant which had been recommended by a family member but we had a terrible experience. We placed our order and started drinking the bottle of wine we brought to enjoy with the meal when we realised that the bottle was finished (we don't drink fast we were just having good conversation) and that the couple at the table behind us was on desert (that table was free when we arrived). We flagged down the server and she seemed surprised (shouldn't she normally check on her tables?) then came back and said they had forgotten to put out order in or lost the ticket or something. We were about to leave when she raced back with our soups so we stayed but the rest of the meal was slow and the waitress kept over compensating with comments on how good she was at rushing the kitchen staff. We got no discount and we're annoyed by the waitress which kept checking on us every 2 minutes to make sure we didn't leave (the complete opposite of the first hour and a half). It was very expensive meal and will go back to the boating club next time.
