Zen atmosphere encouraging no cell use, it's a little oasis close to DuPont station. Tofu burger is like nowhere else in the city. Well worth the wait for a meal and reasonable prices. Locals love the joint.

Been there a few times. Always nice to come to a peaceful restaurant.Staff friendly, food good and fresh. Do miss the cheese sandwiches that they served for lunch until 4pm. Great beverages. Lassi and Masala Chai, just awesome.

My husband and my family (read small children) went to Annapurna for a vegetarian dinner. I'm a vegetarian, my husband is not. They were obviously not pleased to see us, and we had to seat ourselves. We waited quite a long time to be served and for the food despite others who arrived after us getting their meals. The servers were hostile/rude/unfriendly. We live nearby but would never go back. The food was a 6/10. My daughter's pita pizza was good.

Every day at least 3 or 4 families come with babies and children- we do welcome all. Our servers are never rude-but some do not speak or perfectly understand English which might have been an issue. We also give a teaspoonful to taste first if asked. It does happen occasionally that someone who came later get served first - mainly because short orders from the kitchen takes more time, but soups and salads and some main courses are served faster from the serving area. - sorry for the belated response do to the limited understanding of the response procedure - shivaramgopal

I don't think that the interior of a restaurant could be as different from the name itself. Nothing about the interior of this beautiful restaurant reflects the rugged, cresting nature of Annapurna. Maybe the intention of the owner was to entice it's visitors to just sit back and take a moment to enjoy the inner beauty of a stunning mountain crest. And that is exactly the mindset that quickly takes over your soul as you gaze around this visually stunning venue. Everything about this place, from the moment you enter, say's slow down, be calm, find peace. The colour of the walls, the beautiful murals, the serene music, the unique sari attired staff, and the most delicious scents coming from the kitchen. The menu is vast, authentic, and varied. We had a difficult time limit ourselves, wanting to order the entire menu. Every dish we ordered as expected, simply delicious. What a treat. Thank you Annapurna, for feeding not only our bellies, but our souls!

Food was delicious. I had a Masala Dosai, it was not served in a conventional manner, but the potato filling, coconut chutney and sambar was simple sumptuous. The decor is simple, friendly staff and books to read if you are by yourself. I liked it so much that thinking ahead i also packed my dinner, it was a special of the day, with brown rice, fresh garden vegetables with spicy peanut sauce. The prices are very reasonable. I will certainly add it my one of my favorite restaurants even thou it is out of my way
