Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

The district has an amazing history. The buildings are well labeled, the architecture of the old buildings combined with the new structures is very well done. I really enjoyed walking around the district.

A cool quirky area, neat shops, high end shops, food, Mill St. Brewery. A fun place to spend a few hours, an old warehouse/brewery area that has been rejuvenated into a fun inviting area.

We had dinner at Cluny Bistro with our son and his companion on a quiet Sunday evening. The bistro was nicely appointed, however dinner was fair to good.

This is definitely one place worth walking around if you ever come to visit Toronto. It used to be a giant distillery ages ago before it was remade into a historic art gallery / restaurant / crafts / museum place.

There are a lot of small independent shops and food stalls that are worth trying out.

Parking will be hard to find if you come in weekends and be prepared to pay out of your pocket for parking.

There's really not much to see here but it might be good if you want to go to a few shops and restaurants. I went here mostly for some drinks.
