Wonderful service and authentic, deliciously uncomplicated food. Well worth the streetcar ride out of the main core. But make a reservation well in advance!

“Great Food, Service Good (not brilliant)”
Reviewed 4 April 2012 via mobile

Incredibly well-prepared pasta dishes. Flavourful, fresh ingredients, fresh pasta, excellent ingredients. Serving sizes are normal, not American - which might be distressing for some.

Excellent wine list, mainly Italian of course.

Communal tables make for a vibrant atmosphere.

Not the best of values, but not overly kexpensive either.

“Great food, great ambiance, great service”
Reviewed 4 April 2012

Came here for dinner with a good friend. Had the sausage and octopus for appy and the fettucine with chicken liver as main course. Top it off with the rice pudding and a machiato. Every thing was exceptional.

“Great atmosphere, delicious food.”
Reviewed 26 March 2012

I had a wonderful meal here -- how could you not?! The place has its own cheese cave, for goodness sake, and they are making their pasta by hand, on site. They also have a wonderful selection of wines, although be warned they are punishingly expensive: tastes (2 oz) are routinely over $10, and glasses are in the $30s. If you can swallow the cost though, you will have a great meal and a great experience here!
