I didn't know this place and nothing about haggis.
I went there for my friend's birthday and it was really nice.

The wine is good and the food is big and really good.

We enjoyed our time.

I recommend this place.

Love the Scottish heritage and Scotch selection. Great food. Very knowledgeable staff. Our favourite Toronto pub. We will keep going back.

There are a lot of faux pubs in the Annex neighbourhood and around the University of Toronto, but if you want to dwell in a lovely, warm one (warm in both sense of the word) try out the Caledonian. I was here recently with ageing parents and with small kids, though more often go with colleagues or friends. It's that kind of place. Tasty, original Scottish (and not) offerings at reasonable prices. And if you're there for the pint, then try the chips with curry sauce anyway. The fish and chips are awesome, and the haggis, neeps and tatties dish is very popular. Most of all, the owner/server, Donna, is always welcoming and makes the place memorable.

We came across this place walking around the college st area and are glad we stopped in. Donna the owner was great and recommended some really good whiskeys and gave us other places to visit in the area. We have been to a lot of bars and restaurants in Toronto on this trip so far and this is our favorite by far.

We went for Father's Day evening. The place was packed but we got a nice table at the back due to a reservation. It was quieter also. The server was friendly. It was busy so everything took a bit of time. She even took my daughter's order off the bill as it was served so late. The variety of whiskies is phenomenal. The bar food is fried but tasty. We took the platter of appetizers, fried pickles and sausage rolls. It was all deep fried but tasty. We enjoyed our evening.
