All branches of the Toronto Public Library are different, of course, but they all seem to be welcoming spaces for everyone - regardless of your lifestyle. The materials are frequently updated, the staff appear to be cheerful, and the space, while dependent on the branch, is typically equipped with a good mixture of print books and tech. Love TPL.

Not too many places left in the city to enjoy a free morning or afternoon. Read a magazine, or book or surf the internet for free for a half hour time slots.

Great deals on many museums, dvd's, tons of book and more, ESL courses.... the best services you can have in a library, Toronto can be proud of it!

Right next to the Yorkville boutiques and walking distance from uber trendy Bloor St. it is a great spot to sit and read or just sit. The ambience is very nice, computers available for use and the staff are very helpful. Also check out the events, there are often interesting speakers.
