Dirty, smelly. No anywhere near as nice as St Lawrence Market.

This can be very interesting to see, with a lot of historic homes that have been lovingly preserved. The shops are great and you get a sense of community when you visit. There is however some risk...as I found the danger of crime was close by in some places. Be a little careful and it's worth exploring.

This is an area of old and beautiful homes. The homes range i size from former workman cottages to very large houses. It is an area of well maintained homes close to downtown Toronto.
Every fall(weekend after Labour Day) there is the Cabbagetown Festival. This includes an artisan show, various types of entertainment, a house tour, Riverdale Farm tours and so on and so forth.
