We stayed at this hotel for one night while taking in a broadway play and visiting the ROM. Even though the hotel is farther North than the venues we were touring, the subway stop at Eglington East made this the place to stay and easy connection to anywhere we needed to be. The room was very clean, staff exceptionally nice and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast is the plus at this hotel. It is a sit-down, waited table service. It is a breakfast buffet, with a full complement of morning goodies. The staff in the restaurant are speedy, courteous and so nice. The downside of this location is the ongoing construction. It can be very noisy however they do work during business hours so depending what your reason for staying, we were up before they started work.

Room Tip: we stayed on the ninth floor, no noise from within the hotel

My wife and I spent one night here as I had an early morning meeting in midtown Toronto. There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel so be prepared to be wide awake from all the banging at 7am. The room was as clean as you could get it, but it is clear that this used to be a smoking room/hotel. The lingering stench of stale tobacco is in the curtains, carpets and wall paper. The personable and professional staff helped off-set a poor experience in the room (which also included a rattling room fan). Location - nearness to Yonge and Eglinton - is the big advantage of this hotel if you need to be in this part of town. Is it worth the $200+ paid for the room? That's a good question.

Over the last 15 years we have stayed at this hotel whenever we have business/training in the Yonge and Eglinton area. Usually it is a Friday through to Sunday so I can't speak to the typical business weekday rates or traffic issues. I can say that the staff have always been very friendly and extremely accommodating. They really do seem to try hard. This is not an upscale hotel so don't expect to experience the latest and greatest decor but it is clean, pleasant and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to pay through the nose but still wants a good place to stay. We will continue to return to this hotel when in that area of Toronto and you should consider it too.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting my daughter in Toronto. We used Best Western Gift Cards for the first night stay and Best Western points for the second night stay, and everything was put through very quickly.
Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Saturday morning a male in the Breakfast area and Sunday morning a lady in the Breakfast area both gave us very good service both mornings.
Two different valet parking workers were both very good!
The room was great! Bigger than most hotel rooms, bathroom was small, but everything working well. The bed was incredibly comfortable with comfortable pillows and a comfortor.
I stay at a Best Western hotel at least 50 nights a year, and this hotel has the best Breakfast Buffet of any Best Western I have ever stayed at! Pea Meal Bacon and Poached Eggs on Sunday were great!
Being a Diamond Select member I was quoted $126.00/ night, which is a great rate for a room and breakfast like we had!!
This hotel has valet parking which is $18/ night, which I have never experienced at a Best Western before.
Would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Room 1010 is a nice sized room with a very comfortable Queen sized bed!

We booked a room for two nights, to be in Toronto for a medical procedure. For a marvellous rate, I locked the reservation in.

Then the health system fouled us up, other medical issues arose, we didn't need the reservation.

My husband spoke with a staff member OF THE HOTEL, who was most helpful, told him that an exception could be made in the circumstances and that the reservation could be cancelled. He advised us to do this via the on-line route, to ensure a cancellation number was in the system.

And then began hell.

Days of emails to the main Best Western system--absolutely no response except for "so sad too bad" to my first email. Five subsequent escalating emails--no response. Posting on the Facebook page using Messenger--no response.

My husband phone the hotel direct, again. Different staff member--same pleasant, helpful, and efficient customer response. What a relief!!

I will NEVER deal with the BW chain again--but this hotel? Absolutely--in a heartbeat!

Huge thanks to the Roehampton BW, and its staff.
