This place reminded me of East Side Marios - only more home made. Complimentary salad was very similar to eAst sides garden salad in content and dressing - it was very good. Free homestyle bread. Meals were delicious home made style pastas and sauces...chicken parm was the best my son has had. We got two pieces of cake to share amongst the three of us...1 piece would have been more than enough...rich - chocolate, caramel, cheesecake, fudge, icing...all in the same slice of cake.
Service was good...I wouldn't say great...but quite good.
Only criticism is that the decor is uninspired...it could be so much nicer but felt 30 years old and not Italian. A caution...the bathrooms are downstairs in the basement...older building so sort of steep stairs. they are modern and clean but caution folks with mobility issues that getting to the washroom might be a challenge.
