Owner description: First fruit winery in Canada nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It produces a wide variety of award-winning peach, pear, apple, plum, berry wines, and hard cider.

Very friendly winery staff, informal and helpful. The apple cider was excellent, it is difficult to find hard, dry cider in US, most is too sweet. Loved this place.

We visited this winery as part of a self guided wine tour of Niagara on the Lake. We were warmly greeted by the staff and they suggested wines we would taste. The small barnlike winery has its facilities at the back. They have a fruit orchard (peaches, nectarines etc.) in their compound which mainly is used in their wines.

Visited sunnybrook farms winery since we were givin a free wine tasting coupon at the Niagara visitor informations center. TIP: The visitor information center has free wine tasting coupons.... just ask.

They have wines made of fruit- apples, peaches, strawberry, etc. I was surprised but they were not bad. A nice change from standard wines.

The "bartender" was friendly, knowledgeable and suggested many options f food pairing with the fruit wines...such as cheeses.

I did not buy the wine but did buy the wine jams and hot sauces.

We haven't visited here in a few years as their wines got quite pricey. We were very happy that we came back as prices have come down a fair bit and the wine is still excellent. We love fruit wines and $15 - $22 for well made fruit wine is good value. Love the peach wine, plum wine and strawberry wine although all were pretty tasty. We bought 8 bottles and tasting fees waived. Friendly, knowledgable service as well.

Nice contrast to traditional wineries and very reasonable prices. The wines were good and also had two ciders to taste.
