This place has always been amazing. We’ve been several times and have noticed as of late a lack of birds in the main observatory, but it’s still worth every penny. The ambiance is incredible and the variety of birds stunning. If you enjoy bird watching and learning you will most certainly enjoy going here.

Every spring, my spouse and I always try to make the trip to the Bird Kingdom. This year, they have altered the layout and the paths to see the various types of birds. They have reptiles as well as small and large birds. It was a little sparse this time but the greenery could easily overcome the large sanctuary, so it is good that is cleaned up. This allows you more interaction with the birds and closer to view them. I really like the changes they have made to create a good flow throughout the building levels. Parking is beside the building and extra cost over the price of the admission. They have a restaurant onsite but it was not open (guess that will occur during the tourist season of July/August). There is a souvenir shop on site with lovely related items. If you are in the area, do not miss this attraction.

We had a really fun time feeding the birds, only cost 2$ to feed them nectar and they would land all on your arms, shoulders and head! I would definitely visit again!

well worth the money. Loved the authentic jungle hut at the end/centre of the self-guided tour.
