While we have eaten samosas, naan and butter chicken before - Indian was a jump for our regular dining choices. The upstairs of the restaurant was small but nicely designed. The temperature inside however was set so high it must have been close to 90 degrees inside. At first it wasn't an issue but after eating spicy food it quickly became a factor. The washrooms are located downstairs and this area is in need of some cleaning and updating...it looks like that's in the works.
The server was extremely friendly and informative, taking the time to explain the menu and answered my questions. Their wine list needs some updating as it offered a couple of choices different than the Niagara VQA wines but did not have the one I selected.
The menu has plenty of choices - great if you are vegetarian or gluten free. We started with the soup and samosas, which were probably one of the best samosas I've had in a long time. The mint sauce was the bomb! Just perfect amount of heat overall. Also tried the mango salad which was fantastic, a little sweet but still very good. Hubby had the house curry with lamb and I opted for the chicken vindaloo both were very tasty. Nicely presently with naan bread and a crispy piece of poppadam.
Pricing I thought was good - hubby enjoyed soup, we shared samosas & salad, plus two mains a bottle of wine & a beer all for $100. Look forward to trying it again. Hopefully this time the temperature is a bit more comfortable than it was on that day.

Moksha wait staff were excellent and gave attention at all the right time with enthusiasm.
The dishes that were excellent were the entree of a small portion of Kalongi Bengan (pan roasted eggplant) - $15. Mango Salad - $8 (could have used a bit more mango). Vegetable Pakora with salsa - $7. The major disappointments were - entree of Vegetable Vindaloo ($15). We were warned that this dish is hot yet we ordered it anyway as we like our food spicy. This dish is HOT! The major problem with Vindaloo though is that the vegies are nothing more than a Tiny packet of mixed frozen vegies thrown into a hot sauce. The entrees came with paratha and papadum which were fine portions yet the breads were over baked (dry).

Had a good dinner there last night with my wife. The samosas for starters were great, going well with the chili/mint and tamarind sauces. We had their house curry with shrimp - very tasty sauce but WAY overcooked shrimp - almost inedible. Also had lamb saag curry - very nice, could have been a bit warmer. Overall a good meal - we'd go back there if we were back this way again.

Like the name of the review I want to clarify it was our first time eating Indian food, so I have nothing to compare it too. That being said we really liked it. Started with a mango beer which was great ($8) and chicken saag ($15). Great flavor and portion size served with rice and roti. Service was a little slow but there was 9 of us. I would go back.

Great Indian Food. All four entree's were a hit. Waiter was very helpful, very friendly and modest. Nice environment. Interesting drinks and appetizers. Prices were reasonable. Would go there again when in Nigara
