Owner description: Located in the heart of Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s best museum. Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and displays allow for an interactive experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s strange and unbelievable artifacts is the Niagara Theatre. It is the only one of its kind in Niagara Falls! Guests are invited to sit down, relax and get blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls. Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages (as well as adults!) love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall.Spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day exploring the first class entertainment that Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum has to offer. For years, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has shocked and amazed tourists from all over the world as well as residents from the Niagara Region. No matter the reason for your visit to Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Believe It or Not should be a “must see” on your itinerary!

On a rainy afternoon, we thought this might be fun, but it was actually pretty dull. I didn't have high expectations, but the Ripley's book is entertaining and I expected something similar. Unfortunately, this was all pretty tacky!

What a fun place to visit! My family, (2 adults, 2 teenage girls), had a blast! There were many fun attractions, and hands on exhibits. It was worth the cost of admission!

We took our pre-teen and teenager, and were pleasantly surprised that the teenager did not get bored and that most exhibits held the interests of both kids together.

Of special interest are the micro sculptures in the eyes of needles and the shrunken heads exhibits.

Closest parking is $15 per day, so it’s worth seeing some of the other attractions close to Ripley’s as well on the same day to get maximum value from the parking.

Good combo deals with the Wax Museum and Haunted House.

Plenty of fast foods nearby, so it’s easy to keep the kids filled up too.

The only problem with this type of museum is that once you’ve seen it, you would believe it and not come again with the same people, but it was really fun and easy to recommend.

Travelled to NF with my 6.5 and 5yo. I bought a combo ticket off of Ripley's website with the wax museum for some savings. Ripleys was one of our priorities - there isn't much "too do" at the falls beyond site seeing and Clifton Hill. Ripleys is on Clifton Hill and conveniently located. I loved this museum and found it super entertaining. It was not too large - it took us about an hour to walk through it with the kids and talking about things. There is a fun little area that seems more geared towards kids as well. I feel that if I didn't have my kids I would consider it overpriced. I would suggest this to any family travelling to NF for sure!
