Last night had dinner with a friend and she was very excited about the restaurant based in her previous visit in Gromsby. We arrived at 7 pm and left at 1030 . Our appetizers took over an hour to come from the kitchen. The Brie was not warmed, and sub par to say the least. The beef Wellington came to the table with the meat warmed but all the side dishes were barely warm. A table of 12 or more came after us and left before our party of two. When the owner came to fill our water and asked about our experience we politely stated we have been waiting over an hour for out appetizers. Since the menu was a pri fix I guess that’s why she made no offer to make things right. We did not ask and they did not offer. Terrible response to a client experience that was not meeting a sub par offering. I can see why the other location has since closed if this is the standard. Level of food quality and serve this restaurant is well over rated. I am not a food critic but I know and appreciate a well executed dinning experience this restaurant does nit warrant a second chance. When the owner is aware of an issue and doesn’t make an effort to come back to our table to say she has communicated to her staff and wants to apoligize or make a gesture to discount the meal it is a poor customer or patron experience. The only great thing about last night was the conversation with my friend as we were able to really catch up .....since the meal took 3.5 hours to execute....terrrible!
