Nice room with a lovely room, but big spot on the carpet. When we checked in we were told that we could have a cocktail before our late dinner at 8 pm. But when we asked for it they said that they couldnt make any. Apparently they were understaffed. We could not sit at another table, eventhough nobody came to sit there. So we sat right next to the kitchen door. Where loud techno music was playing. We had to ask for bread and the wine menu but it still took them too long to come and serve us. we waited about 25 min before the bread came and longer for the wine. When the food arrived, we almost waited an hour it was lunk warm. The taste was good but it was not warm enough.
The breakfast was nothing speciel. It was alright but we expected a higher standard.
We will not return.

Room tip: room nr 13 had a good view. But the toilet smelled damp and the first thing you see when you enter the room is a big spot on the carpet

A great small romantic hotel with friendly staff, good food and so relaxing with a view to for. The Hotel is a converted private villa from 1850 and the location is more than fantastic. If you enjoy not only the relaxing environment but also to take a swim this is the place to go. Leave the mobile phone, TV and radio at home this is all about relaxing and possibly communication.

If possible get a room with the seaview - its worth it.

We will be back :)

Room tip: Seaside rooms have the view

This hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the sea with beaches down below. We had a small room with small balcony overlooking the car park. The restaurant is terraced outside giving guests wonderful views across the sea to islands and Sweden. It was a three course dinner with no choices, and tables were booked weeks earlier. After a lot of persuasion we were accommodated having tried to requested a table when we checked into the hotel. The hotel check-in was a fiasco. We waited 20/30 minutes whilst they tried to find our booking. Rooms are small and require an update, as does the hotel. It was a pity the hotel staff were not more friendly because the restaurant staff were great. When checking out we found that they had already taken the monies from our card, being the only hotel out of 5 hotels to do this. The views were great but the hotel itself, and breakfast, were disappointing for the price. We had some fabulous breakfasts in Denmark at 5 much cheaper hotels. Check-in was a fiasco - they could not find our reservation even with my photocopy of the booking. Also, it is very unwelcoming to be told that you can not book a table for dinner as these were booked weeks earlier. Why can't all hotels contact their customers via email or 'booking agent' (offered by booking.com) to ask if they would like a table reserving. Some hotels are very good but this one certainly was not. Overall the hotel itself was disappointing.

We stayed here for a night my colleague and I and we had such an amazing danish lunch with the best view. The evening with dinner and the sunset was just incredible. I would go again, But book in time it is almost fully booked:)

I loved this hotel from the moment I stepped inside. The little touches - the wall of Wellington boots, binoculars for guests, the cosy areas with subdued lighting, the 1930s style bathrooms. Outside there was a pétanque area, a massage table in a summer house, and steps gown to the beach. Glamorous but welcoming. Conference guests alongside holiday-makers, but I don’t think either minded. A simple and fresh menu. Attentive and charming staff on the whole.
