I came on business and even the drive down to the Horseshoe was majestic. It was mid April with a little snow and I saw deer grazing. Geese crossing the street. The room was comfy with a wonderful view of the snow hill. Even the dining area was cozy with the fire.

We had a great time customer service was very good. The maintenance and support staff went out of their way to help. The quality of the food was spectacular. The prime rib was excellent at the The Steakhouse. Banquet staff were outstanding. The table service was very good with all dinners being delivered in a short time line. The hotel rooms are very nice and the rates are very good. The bath rooms are like a mini spa. The meeting rooms are equipped with projectos and screens. I was very satisfied with the conference facilities. Over all a very good location

Excellent effort by the resort staff especially with a spring ice and snow storm - too bad the Inn booked a wedding party on the same floor as a convention group - led to noise complaints that should have been anticipated and avoided by booking everyone from the convention on one floor rather than scattered over the three floors.

The room was nice. It had a nice view. Main complaint was how they constructed the building as all the doors had no seals. You could easily hear what is going on in the halls and the room beside you. We stayed there two nights and both nights we got woke up by loud people in the hall. Not just once either. One loud "drunk" guy kept going from his room to the lobbies from 3-4 AM. You would think the front desk would say something to someone coming in the hotel drunk and loud. No, its not the hotels fault but we defiantly did not sleep well here. The breakfast was quite good though so you get what you pay for in that sense. The pool and hot tub were really good as well. The fitness room seemed well supplied and set up. It snowed a bunch and there didn't seem to be much as far as snow removal. It was April so maybe they weren't ready for it but just saying.

Room Tip: Chose a room on a higher floor maybe or ask to be put away from any groups or potential party goers if sleep is what you are needing.

We stayed for two nights for a family event. Expecting much more for the price point. If we had know we would have only driven for the day. First room was filthy, carpet not vacuumed clearly for some time, could write name in the dust on blinds and ceiling fan and all vents had dust hanging from them. Roof leaked in the past leaving a stain down the wall and onto furniture. Upper loft window could not see thru due to moisture in the panes. Housekeeping did not even wipe the sink. No control of the hotel-hockey team guests in the halls with no care for anyone else and the hotel did not care either. 911 was called. No measure taken by the hotel at all, and no response from management about our concerns. Took their survey still no response. Ridiculous given the nearly $1000 spent on room, meals, and skiing. I could say food was ok but I kept thinking how dirty the kitchen must be.

Do not stay here if you can help it. No management, or proper care of guests or rooms.
