Enjoyable way to explore Halifax's naval history. The Titanic exhibit and artifacts were particularly interesting.

Great layout. We luckily got in about 15 minutes before the Rush from the cruise ship. Great visit to learn more about the history of Halifax and the area in general and its connection to the sea.
Spent a pleasant morning walking around the museum, the best part for me was the model section . I appreciate the nautical history and the sacrifices that the people of the area made in both world wars but unfortunately in Halifax you can't get away from it, maybe I should of planned my museum visits better. Not to worry still a very good and interesting visit.
A great museum. There was a lot to see and learn about, and great activity areas to keep the little ones happy while I checked out the exhibits.
Facinating exhibits about the Titanic and the Halifax Explosion. Learned a lot. You need to read all the exhibit labels to fully benefit.
The Maritime Museum is one of the reasons why we travel to Halifax. The museum is impeccably maintained and always kept interesting and current by their staff. Thanks to them for keeping Theodore Tugboat alive with their one of a kind exhibit! The staff is phenomenal starting with Richard and his team. We called ahead and were given detailed info that not only addressed questions regarding our upcoming museum trip but enhanced our trip to NS overall. Not to be missed is talking with the ship modelers who are some of the best! We will definitely be back!
