“A little slice of heaven”
Reviewed 26 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Our first introduction to the property was driving up the road during sunset. You won't be able to beat the views anywhere. Every single bedroom has a view of the sunset and ocean. My kids were thrilled that they each got a big bed to sleep in and the Master Suite was amazing. The living room and kitchen area was spacious, comfortable and had everything we could need including recommendations of things to do in the area and board games that we had fun using in the evenings.

The location is perfect to have a nice peaceful area to be while being a very short drive to restaurants, stores and activities. The owners are wonderful and the house is kept immaculately clean.

Our only complaint was that we should have booked a longer stay :-)

Fun fact: if you leave the island via the Fundy Rose ferry you will get to wave goodbye to the house as you travel.by it on the ferry.

“Prim and Proper”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Point Prim Oceanside is in an ideal location on the water and away from traffic. The road that leads to the beautiful cottage terminates at the Point Prim Lighthouse, so there is not a lot of traffic.

The cottage itself has six rooms which were ideal for our group of three couples. The hall to the bedrooms has a door so the early risers can go into the kitchen and living room and not disturb the late sleepers.

The kitchen is quite large and has an island which makes it easy for several people to help prepare the meals.

Don and Denise, the hosts, were very nice and made several recommendations that we enjoyed, including the Gael Tours "Walk on the Bottom of the Sea."
There are several lovely restaurants in Digby that we enjoyed. The scallops were especially delicious.

All of us agreed that we would definitely return to this idyllic cottage.

“The Most The Most Beautiful Views, The Nicest Owners, The Cleanest Home - The Perfect Peaceful Vacation”
Reviewed 10 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

I cannot say enough good things about this house on Prim Point overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Digby Gut. I was the second booking to stay there, since the owners started renting out the fully refurbished Ranch. The owners run the Bayside Inn in the Town of Digby and they sure know exactly how to make one's vacation a perfect memory. All sheets and towels are provided. The house is cleaned professionally. It was immaculate. It is handicapped accessible. Don and Denise are so welcoming and friendly. There is no better way to start one's vacation with good vibes from the owners of the house where you are going to make your home for a week.
This location has overwhelming views when looking out the 2 large bay windows and watching the ferry boat and fishing boats come in and out of the Digby gut. Every night I would walk down to the Lighthouse on the basalt rocky shore and watch the sun go down over the Bay of Fundy. I never wanted to leave the Adirondack chair on the front deck. The hummingbirds and finches and lovely flowers just enhanced the moments of peace. By the way, there is no fog horn at Prim Lighthouse, so even when the fog rolls in, the nights are quiet and restful.
For the ultimate vacation experience in Nova Scotia, for beauty, relaxation and yet only 10 minutes from the restaurants and shops of Digby, 1/2 hour from whale watching, 1/2 hour from historic Annapolis Royal, I would recommend this home away from home as number 1 on my list of places where I would like to return.
