My wife and I spent a 3 day weekend at this hotel and we loved the hotel. There is ample free parking and we had a quick check-in. There is no bellhop but you get a very positive impression as soon as you walk in. The staff is casual but friendly. The entrance is an open concept showing a newly renovated lobby, Starbucks type coffee place and restaurant. The former Remada hotel is located about 5 minutes driving from the shopping area of Dartmouth Crossing. You need a car if you stay here. We were placed , at a seniors rate of $169, in room 445. the room is extremely well remodeled and well furnished, very clean. the bathroom is great e crpt the closet glads door is shared with the bathroom door- sliding. They have a grest ac/ heating system snd the hotel was very quiet during our stay. There us also a big and modern gym in the hotel and a pool area with a slide for the kids. Overall, we were very pleased with our first stay atbthe hotel. Ee did not eat at their redtaurant ss their menu was limited.

One of the BEST hotels I have visited in a very long time! After driving for 10 hours it was soooo nice to experience a speedy check-in, a clean, modern, spacious room with the absolute most comfortable mattress and pillows. A good night sleep was not a problem. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. We had breakfast and dinner Pitch & Pivot extremely good food. The European Continental Breakfast was a very good value, the choices were great and plentiful especially the sourdough raisin bread. Pam (works nights) on the waitstaff was incredible! She was so friendly, attentive and can make some good drinks! She created a list of things to do for our trip. We had great conversations with her, she knows how take care of guests. We selected this hotel as it has a reasonable fee for pets and offers free parking. It’s about a 15 minute drive to downtown Halifax. It was easy to drive there. There are a lot of stores and restaurants in the area. Did I mention how comfortable the mattress and pillows were? Delta Hotels are new to me I will look for others in my travels. I hope they are just as great as Dartmouth.

Friendly staff were welcoming & helpful. It's obvious that the hotel had recently been refurbished. Everything was near new. The rooms were clean and finished with very modern decor. The hotel has a restaurant which offers an all you can buffet breakfast (for an extra fee), as well as dinner. Breakfast was better than you could get eating out anywhere nearby. They also had a Starbucks for snacks/coffee etc.

While there was a shopping & restaurant area nearby (Dartmouth Crossing), they are not within walking distance.

There were a few minor negative things though. The bathroom door is actually a sliding barn door style for the closet and bathroom. Not very practical, especially since it doesn't actually lock into position but slides open (also not great for kids). Secondly, the hotel is too remote if you're planning to do sightseeing in Halifax. It's in the middle of an industrial complex and you definitely need a car to get anywhere, since it's a 15 minute drive to downtown Halifax.

It was a nice hotel, but will stay closer to Halifax next time.

It is our first time visiting Halifax/Dartmouth and we are very happy with our hotel. This hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are modern and clean. Staff has been excellent and parking is free. As this hotel is in Dartmouth, we have had to drive into Halifax but it takes less then 10 minutes, the bridge toll is only $1 and we have found cheap street parking for $1/ hour - only problem is you can only put in 90 mins at a time - but it really was not a problem for us since we were able to return to our car with a 10 minute walk the whole time. I highly recommend this hotel if you will have a car - most other hotels have parking fees upwards of $20/day in the downtown areas.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Extensive renovations completed a year ago. Appears Brand new. Very clean. Stayed in a suite(Room 250) and it was awesome. Had separate bedroom and very large. Bathroom had a large glass shower....excellent. Very quiet day and night. Dark out curtains so got very good sleeps. We were there for 2 nights and had coupon for free breakfast but appeared that was special for our rooms as not all did. Very large eating area. Breakfast options were very good and fresh. Service was excellent and they served Starbucks coffee. The hotel is situated in a commercial office area so was very quiet. Would highly recommend if you are staying in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
