As a local, Twin Pine is our ‘go to’ whenever we want a meal out or don’t want to cook at home. The regular menu is consistently delicious. Massive portions but somehow I always seem to gobble it all! Brunch is a treat. Chicken and waffles is amazing. The maple butter sauce makes this special, especially when combined with the hot sauce.

But the special events: monthly date nights, celebrations like cinco da mayo... when Chef Robin goes off the page creatively... These are worth planning your life around.

And, of course, whenever we go, we are treated like family.

Such a great local gem.

Thank you so much for the fabulous review! We truly appreciate your continued patronage and support. We have worked very hard to remain consistent with our food and are very glad you noticed. The chicken and waffles is one of our top sellers for sure! Thanks for the compliment on the maple butter it is a mix of maple syrup, local birch syrup and butter...yum!

Thank you for the awesome comments about our special events! We do try to provide different experiences and Chef enjoys being creative with these menus.

You are family. Thanks again :)

Too bad, they are closing early at lunch time today, and we have to leave after waited for 30mins, but I am sure they taste good as many people we're waiting in line ~~

Once again, so sorry we did not get a chance to serve you on Sunday. My name is Karen and I was the person who apologized to you and your family in the lobby and I am doing so again. Please check our social media for updates on hours. We posted that we were closing early, we also made a sign for the front door and I did let the patrons waiting in the lobby know. Having said this, I do understand that miscommunications happen and for that I am sincerely sorry. I am so glad that you stated you will come back another time. I look forward to serving you.

Sincerely,
Karen

We come to twin pine now exclusively for their chicken and waffles; however, on weekends and busy days, we noticed the chicken and waffles weren't as tasty, mouth watering, and saucy like they are on a more quiet day.

Looking forward to our next chicken and waffle, but we'll go during the week to avoid the weekend rush.

Lots of potential here, heard lots of great stuff about it. Ordered the bannock benny: a few thin pieces of bacon, small amount of Hollandaise on bannock. Had so much potential to WOW! but didn't. Seems they cheaped out, not sure why? Service was great and friendly though. I'll try it again and see if it improves.
