“They didn't ruin the french fries...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

I've been to this place a few times. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. I even thought the food was pretty good. Until today. Tried the corned beef sandwich. It was a big mistake. Thick tasteless pumpernickel bread. A blob of corned beef with something like cheese on it. Oh well, the french fries were good for $13 anyway...

“food service ambience cannot be beat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2012

From always being greeted by the owners, top notch food, service, and a pint of good lager this place has quickly become one of the best in a crowded area for choice along Whiterocks waterfront, have never been dissapointed on many of my visits.

“Neat atmosphere, great comfort food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

This place is small which is probably where the Snug comes in. The food is tasty, you should try the lamb stew or stuffed yorkshire pudding. Good place for a pint of Guiness or Kilkenny. Friendly, welcoming staff, i would suggest this place to anyone tired of the usual pub fare.

“Awesome breakfast, Great service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2012

Went for brunch, there were 5 in our group, we all had something different and all were pleased. I had the Welsh Veggie scramble, 3 ordered different versions of eggs benny and one had a standard breakfast, all tasty, good portions and reasonably priced. Our server was very good and genuine, and she had good recommendations. I can't wait to go back for some lunch or dinner.

“The main reason to go to White Rock”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 February 2012

Real pub atmosphere with regulars and great food. Honestly this place is reason enough to go to the beach any time of year. In fact a quiet winter day with a glass of Guinness and a Lamb stew you can't go wrong. An added bonus is the feeling of belonging that is provided by both the owners and the staff.
