The food is the best, haven't had a bad meal in probably about 20 or 30 visits over the year which is saying something. Friendly staff and away from the chaos of the village. Ain't nobody got time for that. Possibly the best panfried potatos in the solar system and they're a just a side. Definitely go here, but if there's nowhere else to sit I'm gonna join u and potentially eat your food. Deal with it.

We had lunch in the sunshine on the patio of the Riverside Café on May 5th. The service was good and the food was delicious. I had a toasted tuna sandwich and my husband had their turkey club and we both had a bowl of their roasted red pepper and coconut soup. The sandwiches were full and fresh and the soup was very tasty. Total cost was $23. The only downside of the location is that the patio faces the parking lot. However, if you can look above that, you see the beautiful snow-capped mountain peaks and surrounding forest, so it was still pretty. On the other side of the parking lot is the river and a walkway alongside, if you wish to go for a stroll. Would definitely go back.

I have enjoyed the ambience of the cafe though a few changes of ownership.

Today I saw their special on line and decided to drop by. Not only did I run into a few friends but the breakfast was over the top.

I usually judge breakfast by the potatoes.

I have to admit though the Smoked salmon on rye with Avocado accompanied by poached eggs and a beautiful hollandaise sauce. As well as a well balanced salad I didn’t miss the potatoes at all!

What a great off the beaten path cafe. Home style cooking, Pemby veggies and a great staff. Nikita, the owner is your chef, food is excellent and prices are very reasonable.

Best Eggs Benny in town! The cafe is locally owned and run, and is “off the beaten path” of the busy whistler village. Would definately recommend the eggs benny for breakfast, and the Reuben or turkey club for lunch! Great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice too!
