We stayed at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre for 2 nights.

Check in tine isn't actually until 3pm, we arrived at 10am and were able to check in right away, what a bonus.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite, lots of room for the 4 of us. The room was immaculate. Nice kitchen with enough seating for 4. In the living area, large sofa bed, chaise, tv. Separate bedroom with comfy queen size bed, tv. Very roomy bathroom with both a tub and separate shower enclosure. A nice small deck outside with access from either the bedroom area, or the living area.

We ordered room service twice, very prompt service and good food as well, Secure bike storage is also available.

There is also a free breakfast buffet in the morning, Very nice relaxng pool area, lots of lounge chairs,

This hotel is in the best location. Shopping, restaurants, grocery store all with in walking distance, Very safe location, Highly recommended.

The service was super, I called bc we were going to be coming in late-late at night, and asked to have them make out the beds for the kids and they upgraded us to a lovely suite for just a few bucks, really, like $40 a night. Room was spotless, linens delish (Frette) and breakfast was free for the whole family every day, so the kids could eat whatever weird stuff they wanted and it didn't cost a fortune. Okay, if that sounds weird or cheap - it isn't! breakfast for my people can run $100 easy-- that's gondola money! Downside? there is some construction across the street, and they start work at 8:01am. But it is for the Olympics and it would NOT keep me from staying there again. It is sort of at the end of the hotel road (or the beginning) in any event- the views are lovely. The pool is quite small, but the kids didn't mind and we were out anyway most of the time. It was a lovely place to come 'home' to and had a full kitchen too. We will go back there for sure.

We too chose this hotel because of the good reviews on tripadvisor. We had a one bedroom lower room with balcony as the price was considerably cheaper than a high floor. This exceeded our expectations as we still had a great view of Blackcomb mountain from our balcony. The room had all the amenities required and we were impressed at the attention to detail by housekeeping staff.
The hotel is in what we thought was the best location with a lovely pool area. Breakfast was adequate and fresh (would have preferred hot eggs!)
All the staf were friendly and helpful.
I would advise travellers to be wary of the TV charges. The Music/video channels actually charge you although the charges are not specified on the screen or in any paperwork in the room. We were charged $9.95 twice and were not aware of this. Also the staff were asked how much per minute long distance calls would be and no-one could actually tell us?! We have since been reassured by management that this will be addressed so hopefully will not happen again.
We chose not to pay for hotel parking as felt it was quite expensive. We parked on Lot 4 which is opposite the front of the hotel and about a 5-10 minute walk (free parking).
Overall an excellent hotel and despite the 'billing' problems we would stay here again and certainly recommend.

I am sitting in the lovely dining/living area of our suite in the Pan Pacific Village Center--enjoying the panoramic view of the mountain. A spectacular sight! This hotel truly has it all. Have spent 4 nights in a 2 bdrm with a den, which is actually a 3 bedroom with 3 baths. Perfect for traveling with our 2, 22 yr old sons--everyone needs a bed. The room and baths are spotless. The beds comfy (yes even the hide-a-bed in the den.) The staff is cheerful and always helpful. And, the location is just the best in Whistler. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day that is more than just pastries and juice. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Whistler that offers so much for such a great price. Easy to see why the hotel is highly rated by Trip Advisor. Check it out!

My husband and I stayed at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre from July 31 through to Monday, August 3rd, 2009. We loved the location within walking distance of everything with lots of underground parking. The streets are all Pedestrian only and it was wonderful to be able to walk all around and not worry about being run over by someone. Our room was small, but very well appointed with a small kitchen, (fridge, microwave, stove and oven) and was on the sixth floor facing the firehall and with an incredible view of the mountains in the distance. We had a separate bedroom with Queen bed. There was also a sofa bed in the living room. Our room came with complimentary newspaper at the door and continental breakfast each morning. The continental breakfast was very nice and consisted of cereals, muffins, bagels, toast, assorted cheeses and fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and a very nice selection of cold meats.

Here is where this review heads for the ditch (so to speak). I love the fact that most if not all the Hotels in Whistler are pet friendly. The couple in the room directly across from us had a huge dog which they left in the room (for what seemed like the entire weekend). This dog barked almost constantly. On Saturday we made a point of stopping at the desk and asking that something (anything) be done. The desk personnel said they would look into the problem. This was obviously not a problem for them because nothing was done and the barking continued.

Why bring this poor dog and lock it in a hotel room for the weekend. We were in Whistler to getaway and relax. Part of the relaxation was ordering room service but barking dog and indifferent hotel staff made that impossible.

I might stay here again; but would certainly request a room on a floor without animals and would ask that no dog be above or below us. I think this is a don't blame the dog, blame the dog owner and the hotel staff.

Sincerely,
