“Amazing ski resort!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

Being from the East Coast, I'm used to skiing on sheets of ice. Whistler has changed that for me: always lots of powder, tons of runs to keep me busy and trying new routes down. During holidays and breaks, it can get busy and the lift lines long, so try to avoid it then.... skiing during a week day helps a lot!

“You don't have to ski to enjoy Whistler Blackcomb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

We did the usual....ski whistler. Its a huge mountain, but when its a holiday weekend and they get fresh snow...prepare for LONG line-ups for the chair lift (40mins), food is great at the Rendezvous, and don't forget to pick up your lift tickets at 7-11 in Squamish to save a few dollars

“Whistler Blackcomb is the best around!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

This is the place of a lifetime for skiiers and snowboarders! There is so much on offer and so much to do! Both mountains offer wide varieties of terrain and the gondolas are fast and easy to load on. If you love powder there is always fresh snow in the forecast and the backcountry is fanatastic! If you love jumping and doing tricks there are over 4 parks on the two mountains which are split into difficulty level to suit all abilities. Even if you love normal piste, the pistes are wide and accomodating with runs for all abilities. (occasionally can be crowded at the end of the day).
There are lots of places for aprés ski as well, such as the longhorn saloon or the garibaldi lift co. all of these places provide a welcoming atmosphere after a hard day on the slopes!
Its by far my favourite place around and im sure it will be yours too!
Have a great trip everybody!

“Non-stop fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2012

First major ski trip for us and it was a great choice. My wife has never skied so we got an instructor for her. He was great and worked with her as she progressed in skill. There are just so many places to ski you never feel like you are crowded. The village is fun and there are just lots of places to explore, eat, and shop. There are other great things to do. Some nice spas and other outdoor sports like snowmobiling, or zip lines.
