We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by Tad (I think that was his name). Very friendly and helpful. We had booked one of the renovated suites - wow! The suite was awsome. We were on the 11th floor with fantastic views of Stanley Park and Coal Harbour. Everything in the suite was new and very stylish. The kitchen has everything needed for a short stay and there is also a washing maching and a dryer which is a big plus. The included breakfast is fine, we collected the breakfast and brought it back to our room to eat. All in all, this is a good place to stay and close to everything, about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the city centre.

Room tip: Book a room on the higher floors for the fantastic views

Thank you for taking time to let us know your thoughts on your stay with us.
We're pleased that you enjoyed the gracious service provided by Tad at your time of check in, he and our staff work hard to offer kind service.
The views offered from many of our suites are amazing as you made mention.
We'll see you on your next visit to Vancouver.

Thank you,
David A.-General Manager.

The hotel is close to the Stanley Park and offers some great views!
Breakfast is reasonably ok if you just want something quick to start strolling on the park and don't mind with the somewhat poor menu!
Make sure you bring everything you need to drink and eat!
Couple beds are small. So you'd better get twin-bed apartments perhaps!

Thank you for taking time to let us know your thoughts on your stay with us.
Our location is definitely a great starting point for any visit to our lovely city, as you found out first hand.
The complimentary continental breakfast is meant as a little kick start to our guests day, we hope you enjoyed.
As we aren't a full service hotel, there isn't room service available only the complimentary continental breakfast is offered each morning.
Due to the configuration of the building some suites are equipped with a double bed while others are equipped with a queen bed, it appears that you were assigned a double bed for this stay.
We'll look forward to having you back on your next visit to Vancouver.

Thank you,
David A.-General Manager.

Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The suite was comfortable and clean but a little tired as were the furnishings in the breakfast room. The breakfast was fine for us. It has very easy access to Stanley Park and a 20 minute stroll along Coal Harbour takes you into the centre of town. Robson Street has dozens of restaurants of all kinds. It is not the height of luxury and does not pretend to be. Our room was at the back and it was noisy with the traffic although Alberni Street itself is quiet. I would try to get a suite at the front of the building rather than the rear. Would use it again,

Room tip: Don't choose a room at the back

Thank you for taking time to let us know your thoughts on your stay with us. Our staff appreciate your kind words regarding the service you received while here.
With regard to the furnishings in your suite, we are currently looking at updating many of the suites and look forward to sharing these changes with our guests in the coming new year.
As we are located so close to Stanley Park there can be occasional traffic noise from time to time, the price we pay for being so close to such a popular destination.
We're pleased that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you back on your next visit to Vancouver.

Thank you,

First night of our travels we stayed in Vancouver and Lord Stanley Suites On The Park was prefect for our needs albeit basic and slightly dated but this wasn’t an issue for us. First time traveling with a 11month
and it catered to all our needs. We stayed in a premium one bed suite over looking Coal Harbour which was beautiful. They provided a cot/crib at extra $10 and the suite had enough space so that he slept in a different room to us which helps a lot. The kitchenette has everything we needed, from baby food, warming milk and our evening meal (microwave, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, Kettle, dishwasher etc ) and had its own washer/dry facility in the room should you need to wash your clothes.

They offer continental breakfast which was ideal but maybe not for 11month olds, my husband loved the waffle making machine and thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast. Unless your giving your baby crossiants, toast and waffles in the morning it maybe best to bring your own baby breakfast.

Overall I could’t fault our stay, right from check-in to check-out was seamless and easy. We parked in the hotel and parking is included in the rate of you book directly!

Thank you for having us, if we were to come back to Vancouver we would stay here again.

We stayed a week and we're quite happy about our stay. The room we had was a bit small considering we were 4 (2 adults and 2 children) but we had enough space to make do. The beds could use better mattresses.
The hotel is situated just at the entrance of Stanley Park, which was the reason we chose it. You basically had to cross the street to reach it. It took us 15 minutes by foot to access the aquarium.
The road behind it is full of buses taking you to Canada Place, but it only takes 20 to 30 minutes to reach it by foot.
The hotel staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Even if the room was small, it was clean and fully equipped.
We'd probably stay back if we were to travel back to Vancouver, but would probably upgrade to a renewed room or a 2-bedroom, just to make sure we have enough space.
