Great central location, found it easy to walk to anywhere in central Vancouver and had great access to Stanley park.
Found the check in process easy and straight forward. We did however have to assist some non English speaking guests upon their arrival as they hadn't understood the situation with the access code and their room number.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was a again a generous size and pleasant. The only down side was the extractor fan, it was surprisingly loud and may require an update.
Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and was exceptional. This was the absolute highlight of our stay at English Bay Inn and for me personally was a real highlight on Vancouver as a whole. It was served by 2 professional and polite gentlemen who were friendly and really helpful providing recommendations on local amenities.
On the whole English Bay Inn was the perfect way to start our visit to Canada and I would 100% recommend a visit. Thanks a lot.

The location is its greatest feature: steps to English Bay, Stanley Park and Denman. The breakfast is included and was great every day. I had tremendous difficulty with the internet: I couldn't access it regularly and kept getting booted off.

There was no one to greet us and give us a lay of the land but that didn't matter as we had earlier been sent a fact sheet of where to park and how to get in. The Inn is in a quiet location 2 blocks from Stanley park and 2 blocks over from the sea wall. Also very close to a number of restaurants. Just perfect. The place was very quiet other than a couple of times where yahoos on the residential street in the middle of the night acted up, no fault of the Inn.

The bed was great with good linens. Water was hot with good pressure. We were in room 5 which has in addition to the bedroom area another room on a lower level with a TV and a great place to read.

Outside in the back yard was a large gazebo which we didn't use but would be very nce on a warm summer evening. There were some umbrellas which we needed to use but I would suggest to the Inn to invest a few bucks in a half dozen ones that work properly.

Breakfasts were amazing and varied with fruit cups and yogurt, pancakes/fruit and fancy egg dishes.

Would highly recommend.

What a delight it was to stay at this inn. We occupied the lower level apartment with 2 bedrooms and full kitchen. Location was great, walking distance to Stanley Park, Granville Island, downtown, gas town etc, but we are very active. If you are not used to walking taxi is super easy and inexpensive. Check in and out was easy and they were very accommodating in holding our bags for us when we arrived way too early for check in but wanted to start exploring the city. I highly recommend for families.

Very comfortable room and great breakfast. Don't be like me and ignore the email they send you shortly after you make a reservation. I didn't reserve a parking space and had to park in a public lot for the first night. Also it contains information about getting into the building and your room, which you will want to have read before getting there after a long drive.
The Inn was in a great area, close to English Bay and Stanley Park. There are many good ethnic restaurants a couple of blocks away on Denman Street, and we tried a couple; Banana Leaf and Chi Men. Both were very good.
