An amazing spot to visit anytime of the year. You can visit in the Spring and see a totally different display a month later. Pathways are in good condition, which makes it fairly accessible for most age groups. Definitely wear some good shoes though, especially if it's raining. Check before you go for the location of free parking, otherwise, there is lots of paid parking options at the top.
