If you are staying in Vancouver you always think of the ocean and Stanley Park as the places to go to enjoy nature and escape the City. You should have Queen Elizabeth Park on your list. In the summer it is gorgeous but even on a misty January day it is a beautiful place to stroll. Give it a look!

Lovely gardens and the conservatory is excellent. So nice to wander round and be surrounded by exotic birds. Easy to get here by bus from the centre.

We visited the park in January where everything is covered in snow. The kids can sled along the hilly slopes. There is a place on the top with a view of downtown and snow capped mountains in North Vancouver. The conservatory is also nice with tropical birds.

Bloedel Conservatory is one of the best places i have visited in Vancouver. And the park is very nice as well. If you like birds, you have to go there. A lot of tropical birds walking and flying around you. Better go on working day if you can, birds gonna be more relaxed :) Restaurant at the park is also very nice.

We visited in the fall at just about sunset. The park had lots of people roaming about the park. Lot's of parking available and be ready to walk the grounds are extensive
