From the first moment on arrival the staff were exceptionally courteous. The food in the restaurant for breakfast, especially the eggs benedict was really excellent. The rooms are a somewhat dated and old fashioned but very clean and quiet. The suite we had was a combination of 2 rooms and for the price of the upgrade definitely worth it. The location is great, center of town.

Room Tip: We were offered an upgrade to a suite on arrival. Worked out really well.

I will never stay here again for business. Attended an event and had my wife and two year old son stay with me. Two days after checking out they stated that our two year old son used a pen on one of the pieces of furniture and charged us an additional $1150 to replace the chair. Either put families in rooms where there is some wear and tear expected on furniture, get insurance that covers these sort of events, or make the families aware of the costs from the beginning. I'm a preferred Starwood member but had switched because I liked the location and service during my first few stays at the Four Seasons. This has really soured my experience.

Dear Joshuasmith77,

Thank you for sharing your concerns following your recent visit to Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. I appreciate you taking the time to speak with Alex Yao, our Guest Services Manager, in regards to the additional charge for the damaged Eames chair.

Rest assured that our housekeeping team worked diligently to restore the leather on the chair but, unfortunately, it was unsalvageable. We can certainly appreciate that this was an unintentional incident and we do understand your disappointment in this unexpected expense.

At Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, we welcome families and cater to even our youngest guests by offering complimentary cribs, highchairs, strollers, playpens, child-size bathrobes, baby and children toiletries, games and welcome-gifts upon arrival. In addition, we offer year-round, splash-around fun at our pool. During Spring Break, in the summer months and over the Festive Season, our Kids in the City team hosts daily poolside activities such as crafts, face painting and scavenger hunts. The Playzone, a game room fully equipped with the latest and greatest games, is also available during these family times.

Joshuasmith77, please be assured your loyalty and ongoing support of Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver is appreciated, and your feedback is important to us. I hope you understand our position and will continue to allow us the pleasure of welcoming you back to many future stays.

Kind regards,
Kari Koskela

Went with my 3 year old, and she felt very special being there. Toddler robe, juice and cookies, and a stool for her to reach the sink. Very kid friendly

My wife and I went to Vancouver to attend a dental conference and in addition we were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. Once the hotel found out about our wedding anniversary they went out of their way to make our two day stay exceptional. They made dinner reservations for us and both restaurants not only acknowledged our anniversary but gave us complimentary deserts. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel seem to know about our celebration and the hotel sent up strawberries and chocolate. I would especially like to acknowledge Alex Yao who went out of his way to make our time at the hotel special.

Room Tip: Get a corner room if possible.
