Sushi Bang is run by Chinese chefs and staff, but don't let that get in the way of you giving this place a try. The sushi is really good, creative, fresh and very well priced. It does not look like much, just another small diner type setting, but the service is fast and there are quite a few creative sushi dishes. There is definitely a wow factor to some of the sushi that rolls from behind the sushi bar.
On a busy lunch rush, there is usually a small line out the door, the place also does a lot of pick-ups, so that is an alternative if you don't want to wait. If you do get a seat, you are sat pretty close to your neighbour and very privy to their conversation, its a little awkward. So have a paper or your cell phone at hand to pretend you are concentrating on something else as the couple next to you discuss their relationship :P
If you want to avoid the tight quarters, then wait to go till after lunch, 2pm and onwards is definitely a lot quieter.
My favourite sushi roll is the Veg Dragon Roll, with mangos, avocado and great veg stuffing, give that a try.
So even though it does not have the ambience of a 5 star restaurant, it is still a great joint to go to for some great sushi and good prices. It is my go to sushi place.
