Great cafe in the Wickaninnish. The coffee is really good and the service is friendly and fast. Great views of the beach from the cafe itself too.

The location of the Driftwood Cafe is stunning with views of the beach and a lovely heavily west coast inspired interior and wood fireplace. However, the actual product is average at best. The service was subpar, I had to wait and in the end ask for a refill of coffee not once, but twice and the servers were not busy. Now, I don’t know if I’m being harsh about this, but at a Relias & Châteaux I expect a higher quality of service. At one point there were dirty cups at table and yet the server was on his phone and wasn’t even trying to hide it! So, dirty dishes out and apathetic servers who’d rather be on Facebook than keep the cafe looking clean. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We were surprised with this level of behaviour at such an establishment.

Literally a stones throw from the beach and part of the Wickaninnish Inn, a great place for a snack or a drink.

Superb coffees and nibbles in a very tranquil setting in the lower level of the Wick Inn. And you don't have to line up behind yammering hipsters to be served by the very professional staff that actually don't live in a van in the parking lot. Enjoy
