Easy area of town to get to, lots of parking. Trails well maintained with washroom facilities along the way. Great location for walking, biking or just enjoying nature.

Mission Creek Regional Park spans many many kilometres and has a variety of different activities. During the spring you can float down the creek and there is a beautifully well kept park for families to enjoy the kids climbing gym and picnic tables. The paths for walking are well kept and as well the bike paths are wide and comfortable. If you need a break from the city while in the city.. go to Mission Creek Park

How many people review dog parks? Well, this reviewer does. If you come in to Kelowna with your furry friend, there are a few dog parks you can enjoy. Today, I'm reviewing the Mission Field Dog Park. It can be accessed by driving south on Gordon Drive, turn east on Lexington Drive into the Mission Sport Fields Complex. Drive almost to the softball fields. Take a left into the parking lot and drive to the gravelled parking lot. The dog park is on your left.

What sets this dog park apart from many of the others is it's easy access, plenty of parking, large size, a small dog area, trees, solar lighting for early evening use, running water in the summer and a port-a-potty. People are friendly and most are responsible dog owners. There may be a dogs who stir up trouble but for the most part, owners step in right away. There are always regulars who will involve you in their conversations. Beware, it is sloppy in the spring. The good news is that if the dog park doesn't meet your needs, there is direct access to the Mission Park Greenway where you can walk your dog on leash, beside Mission Creek.

The park is part of 10+km trail along Mission Creek. Very flat trail and not paved. Great for walking and biking. Many entrance points along the trail
