Went for a weekend getaway and to do some shopping. They accommodated us and even gave us a free upgrade to have a city view!! Very clean rooms, very comfortable beds and good breakfast rounded out our stay.

I booked a suite (two bedrooms, three beds) and when we arrived they tried to put us in a two-bed room. It took a relatively strenuous objection to get a 2nd room comped to us (and had to prove the original booking with my online receipt).

In part, this was probably because I booked the room online through a third party so I don't really hold it against them.

Why do I give them four stars then? Because they made it right at no additional cost to us. Decent rooms and an excellent breakfast, albeit a wee bit expensive at $15.

Convenient location to our sporting event.

Very new and very clean. Hot breakfast buffet included. Close to Costco and the highway but well built and therefore quiet. Get top floor if possible. Great staff. Also has lots of parking in their large property. Easily access and return from the highway. Close to other hotels and amenities down the street. Nearby Duffies pub has great food.

This hotel is a very nice one with a large parking lot and spacious rooms. The decor is nice, and the staff was both friendly and efficient.

That said, like many hotels, the management needs to get an EFFECTIVE method of dealing with noisy guests. When there is a group of disrespectful people who are obviously making a lot of noise in their rooms, in the hallway, from the hallway to the main area as they go outside to smoke and then into the elevators and up to their room again, it continues to amaze me how a hotel will allow these people to disturb dozens and dozens of guests for hours on end without taking any effective action about it whatsoever.

There needs to be an action plan to identify, deal with and mitigate the effects of these types of people when they are being unruly. Keeping other guests awake, who paid for a place to sleep, so they won't be tired the next day driving on a treacherous highway, is not acceptable.

This sort of thing obviously doesn't happen all the time, but when it happens, one needs to know how to deal with it, and do so before it becomes a disruptive fiasco.

In short, the noisy people were bad. Very bad. And nobody did anything about it for a long time. Eventually they were quieter, but not until after midnight at least. There is no sense letting people be like that for hours.
