Top of the mountain manages Studio 222 in the Fireside Lodge as well as a number of other apartments in this complex and throughout the village.
Organising the accommodation from Australia was very streamlined.
Before arrival by email I was given appropriate entry instructions to my studio and did not need to go to an office to organise entry.
I was able to get early entry which is important after a 22 hour flight into Kamloops due to weather delays.
A little while after arrival I was greeted by James who explained how things work.
I would be happy to recommend this company to anyone visiting Sun Peaks.
As to the apartment it came with a fully functional kitchen, separate shower bath toilet and basin room.
Crockery was adequate for three/four people ,wine glasses in short supply, frying pane, saucepans etc quite adequate However this studio would be crowded for more than 2 people
Decor quite acceptable.
Have not tried the gas fire as the studio is quite warm buy not unpleasant.
Top or the Mountain supplied locks for the ski room not a thing done by some other managers.
I would be happy to return to Fireside

Room Tip: View of the mountain

Our 1 bed condo had everything we needed for our 10 night ski/snowboarding trip.

The location is good, you can ski down the main street to the Sundance and Sunburst lifts and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, winter sports equipment shops and a supermarket within walking distance.

The condo had a full kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher etc.), living room with 4-seater table, gas fire, sofa bed, large balcony
with view of Mt Morrisey.

The TV was a bit rubbish, an old school CRT job with a limited choice of channels.

The bedroom was large enough and the bed was comfortable.
There was plenty of wardrobe space, but we could have done with a few more shelves or drawers to store clothes.

The bathroom was also a decent size and the bath was full sized.

Downstairs there is a secure and heated ski storage room and a hot tub which unfortunately was broken.

On each floor is a small laundry room (1 washer, 1 tumble drier).
The 4th floor laundry room had a faulty strip light which flickered at a migraine inducing rate.

Dirty, stained carpet, otherwise ok. KEY CARDS FAILED 2 nights in a row, after coming in late at night. No songs anywhere in lobby of who to phone - no staff in lobby at this hotel...and no refund! Would never stay here again.

this was our first time staying at Sun Peaks and we were really looking forward to this stay. We payed for 2 nights and were to get the 3rd night for free. I'll give the good points first. The room was very nice. OK now on to the bad points. For starters the phone in the room didn't work when we tried to call the front desk (something about restricted access). My husband is a diabetic and on occasion I've had to call for medical assistance for him. With the phone not working, this could have been a real disaster. When I reserved the room, I wasn't told that Retro Nights would be going on. If we would have known this, we would have asked for a quiet room or booked on different dates. We were kept up late on both nights, with the second night being the worst of the two. The music was incredibly loud and we had to put up with drunken people yelling and at one point heard a fight going on. Why in the heck would you have loud music going on right next to hotel rooms? We had a few other minor complaints, but not important enough to mention here. We payed for 2 nights and were suppose to get a 3rd night for free. There was no way that we were going to stay that 3rd night and experience the same thing. We really felt let down. We told the front desk staff this whole story and the only response we got was "sorry for your experience".
