We stayed 2 nights. The short version.... The hot springs and the spa are lovely. I highly recommend staying at a quieter hotel for less money and better customer service and booking a massage at the Spa which includes full day use of the Hot Springs. The massages we had were excellent.

This hotel has made my top 3 "worst sleep ever" hotel lists. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The walls are paper thin - you can hear people above and beside you talking, and rolling over on the creaky soft mattresses all night in addition to the expected TV and music. We made a noise complaint at midnight. Nothing was done. Called again at 1.15am and security knocked on the door and our neighbors finally were quiet.

If you are looking for a quiet, romantic weekend - note there are tons of young families and lots of noise in the pools, hallways and even the high end Copperroom restaurant. This hotel should cater to families or to adults who want a quiet getaway- the combination does not work. My travel is extensive and this hotel does not warrant a 4 star rating.

After travelling for over a week across Canada we were looking forward to a well earned relax, on arrival our room wasn’t available,e but we were told we could use the pool, directed to the changing rooms which were small with nowhere to safely stow your bag; eventually we had a text to say our room was ready and we had been upgraded due to water damage elsewhere on the resort , on entering the upgraded room I found it dated to say the least , the carpets was old and frayed and the bathroom was tiny and dark, we also had no tea/ coffee facilities ( quickly remedied I may add) the pools are lovely but you only have one towel which seems to ha e to last you for the spa and the enevistable shower in the room ? We booked massages the next day and wow I had a great massage with a charming Hungarian gentleman , 5 stars for him, the food in the lakeside restaurant was mediocre as was the service

Our King size room was very spacious and the views were wonderful! Dinner at the Copper Room was exceptional, and the live band an added bonus! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel staff was very friendly in all of our experiences.

The king size room we had was lovely and clean. The pools were pristine, the dinner we had at the Copper Room was delicious and the house band were terrific. We were only sorry our stay was so short. Definitely going back!

Room Tip: Be sure you book the east wing, the rooms are newer.

Just spent a delightful 24 hours at this grand old dame of a resort. Our room in the main building was spacious and comfortable with a Queen-sized and a single bed. Staff were delightful at every encounter.

The decor has an old world feel. The pool areas have an Asian ambience and are all delightful.

Dinner at the Copper Room was outstanding as was breakfast in the Lakeside Café. The disappointment was the food in the bar. We had lunch there as well as a pre-dinner snack. I would recommend eating elsewhere for lunch as the other restaurants are closed at lunch and evidently the main kitchen is closed as well.

For dinner reservations, recommend booking early in the day or even the day before.

I was a bit concerned before arriving after reading some recent negative reviews. Need not have worried. We would return in a heartbeat.
