Two 50 something year old gals went in the 3+ Fraser River 3 hour rafting trip and we had a blast!!! This is a must to do while visiting in Jasper!!!!

Our tour guide was outstanding! Norm is the best! We were only about 5 minutes into our trip when we saw a coyote and an Osprey. Norm knew where the coyote was going to so we got some great pictures. Next came the Eagle. We stayed there for quite a while watching the Eagle preen himself by the nest. We saw lots of black bears throughout the evening and one with 2 cubs. The tour guide keeps in contact with other groups and heard there was a moose by the creek. We drove there and got some great pictures of the Moose cow with her calf. We were never rushed throughout the tour so we were able to take as many pictures as we wanted. You are also given a brief presentation about the animals that we may see and are able to handle the antlers of the animals in the area. Towards the end of the tour we saw a whole herd of elk with their little ones. The tour guide also explains different facts about the wildlife, their habits and how they live. It was a fantastic evening and the best part of our trip. You need to take the evening tour when the animals are starting to come out. Thank you SunDog tours for a chance to see so much wildlife up and close in their own environment!
