A little restaurant tucked away just off Jasper ave. It is an open style room with rustic French decor. Very hip atmosphere and a bit loud at times. I was wishing for a cosy booth, but no matter, the food more than made up for that. French cuisine at its finest. We savored every bite. Our appetizer was grilled octopus. It was fabulous. Served on a bed of kale and green salsa that was so savory I had to use my fresh bread to mop up the juices! Next we had the ribeye and arctic char which I would highly recommend both. Again both were accompanied with sides that you just let roll over your tongue to get all the flavor. We finished with the best brule and chocolate cake I have ever had. Jen was our waitress. She was great!

Can't say enough about the Marc, which has become a favourite lunch and dinner spot.

The food is wonderful, the service warm and friendly, and there's a great conversational buzz here.

Plus they do burgers once a week, can't remember which day, and evenings before an Oilers home game... And their burgers are sensational.

Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant as part of a group. It is an open area that is light and airy and the background music was tasteful and background so it was easy to have good conversations. They have a number of specials and more choices on the menu. Food was well prepared and the main course was "pretty" and also tasted very good. Service was attentive and as expected from a restaurant that is definitely white tablecloth.

Five ladies out for birthday lunch including a much ollder lady. They went out of their way to set up not one but two easily accessible tables and let us choose which one was better suited for our needs.
Excellent service. We ordered different meals and each one of us was very satisfied.

Probably Edmonton's best restaurant Been here many times and never disappoints. Service, atmosphere and food top notch
Tonight our group had Artic Char - totally superb. The duck confit was very flavourful (albeit perhaps a bit dry - perfectionist quibble) . One of the party ordered the steak (why would you do that in Alberta when you can throw a piece of beef on your Barbie) but he loved it and the Frites were outstanding. I had the escargot which is one of the most innovative preps and highly recommenced. The pate was excellent. The beef Tartare sparked some debate as to whether it was as good as Bistro Praha's signature dish. At any rate first class and reflected in the difficulty to get a reservation.
