My friend and I stayed at this delightful B and B on our way to and from Waterton National Park. This is a charming period home situated in a very interesting, up scale and fashionable area of Calgary called Mount Royal.

The B and B, which is beautifully decorated with wonderful pieces of art and furniture is impeccably clean and tidy, and features a sitting area, dining and kitchen area and two charming bedrooms with a shared bath. The second and larger bedroom also features a wonderful private and large outdoor sitting area with gorgeous flowers and greenery. This is a perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable with lovely linens. This B and B also has a small and elegant front yard with a veranda with comfortable furniture and surrounded with lovely window boxes of flowers. Details such as hardware on the doors and windows do not go unnoticed. Much care and attention to detail is evident in this lovely home.

Our hosts were very pleasant, charming and helpful with many good tips on where to eat and shop in the area. May I recommend Buon Giorno in the area for an amazing Italian dinner which was suggested by our hosts who are obviously well known there. Upon arrival, our bags were taken in and we were made most welcome with a tour of the house and an explanation of how "everything worked". Nothing was left to chance and we felt comfortable knowing all the details of the house.

Breakfast was a splendid affair with a delicious fruit bowl and lovely hot entree tastefully and artistically presented. Coffee and conversation were excellent as well. A wonderful recipe for pizza was an added bonus.

I would certainly recommend this B and B and plan to return with my daughter for a little shopping getaway. I feel that I arrived as a guest and left as a friend.

The room and the entire floor that we stayed in was a delightful recreation of the styles that graced my grandparents' home. The atmosphere was quiet and gracious and our hosts were wonderfully friendly and helpful. There was a small private garden for us to relax in at the end of a long hot day.
The location of the B%B is great, you can walk along bustling 17th Ave. SW or even downtown, and yet the location of the B&B makes it a quiet sanctuary as well.
Breakfast was great - delicious and filling.
Our favourite part was definitely the lovely garden at the end of the day. Our least favourite was that breakfast on weekdays was held a little early for us, but that improved on the weekend.

Room Tip: The best suite is the garden room - especially on a summer afternoon or evening.

A lovely B&B one block off of the famous 17th Avenue Mount Royal shopping district. Restaurants galore and abundant shopping in one of Calgary's most popular districts. From hip to ultra posh, Mount Royal has it all. The place to see and be seeen.

The B&B itself is meticulously maintained. Absolutely spotless. It's a charming and well appointed character home with tasteful decor and interesting art pieces. Our room featured a very private outdoor deck/patio located in the rear yard. There is a cozy porch on the front of the house as well. Like flowers? You'll love the peaceful outdoor seating areas where flowers (and birds) abound.

Breakfast was carefully prepared and elegantly served by our hosts in the beautifully set dining room. We were catered to in every respect and felt exceptionally well attended. The food is healthy and there's something new and tasty every day. Great coffee too.

Our hosts were delightful in every sense. Very endearing. So much that we sincerey offered an invitation to look us up for socializing, shopping or outdoor activities when they are in our area.

We look forward to our next special occasion in Calgary because we have indeed discovered a very special B&B. We loved every minute of it.

Room Tip: Room with private patio recommended.

A return visit, it felt like staying with friends who are personally concerned to treat you nice and make you happy. These are GOOD things :) House and rooms super-clean, with perfect period touches. And the breakfasts amazing again! Tip: when asked, agree that you want a full pot of coffee to be brewed in the morning; it's so good you WILL want it all !

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this lovely home. The location is perfect, close to all the great shops and restaurants on 17th Ave. The breakfasts were amazing, the decor charming, and the hosts extremely welcoming.
