Teena and Al are the most wonderful hosts that you could ever imagine!!

The place had the warmest country cosy feel and so clean!!

Separate tub and toilet areas in your stay area.

Quiet and quaint!!!!!

Small fridge. Toaster oven. Dishes and cutlery. A beautiful sitting porch and hot tub. No stairs. Only one step to porch.
Separate entrance.
You will love it.

I did!!!!

We stayed in the Rose Room and were delighted to have air conditioning, a refrigerator, and tea kettle in addition to the private bathroom. Teena and Al were great! Breakfast was delicious! And the garden seating with the burbling fountain is not to be missed. We stayed two nights and enjoyed using the B & B as our base camp for Calgary sights and to head home via the airport close by.

The B&B is close to the Calgary airport(20min). Easy to park at B&B. The hosts are very friendly and social. The rooms look nice and are clean. They have a nice garden to sit in. The breakfast is superb, you get home made dishes, yummy .
We arrived in the afternoon. We visited Calgary downtown (easy with c2 train, 800m walk from B&B)
In the mourning we drove to Banf. ! Take the 1A route!, 25min longer, but worth wile because of the great views.
You can also visit a spectacular shop close to the B&B. BAss Pro shop, an experience.
Conclusion: perfect place to start your vacation from!

Very nice stay and room. There was also an inviting chair outside where you could enjoy the evening. Coffee and tea facility ' s , a fridge who made a lot of noise and a lot of little things in the bathroom for in case you might need something. A breakfast was served with much skill and love. We hadn' t much time to talk to our hosts.
The stampede was that moment the most important thing in Calgary.

We stayed for two nights last week with Teena and Al in tending Gardens and we really enjoyed it. It's been a long time since I've stayed in a place where the owners take such pride in their place and in the service they provide.
The house is lovely, I had the Garden Room with its bed stand made from sticks, full of curiosities and nick-nacks. It was certainly one of the most unique places I've ever had the pleasure to stay.
It is clean as a whistle, as I said teena takes such pride in its maintenance and the breakfast provided on both days were incredible, definitely the best I have ever had. Bar none.
The garden is really pretty too and there is a lovely porch upon which you can sit and relax the evening away.
It is very close to the airport so ideal to start or end a road trip and from downtown it is about a 20 minute drive, about the same 25 minutes maybe by tram with the station about 5 minutes walk away.
The restaurants in the area are poor really so best to eat in downtown. There is a huge general store nearby though if you need the basics.
Overall a huge thumbs up to Tending Gardens. it was expensive but sometimes in life you get what you pay for!
