Stayed for a week at the Glenmore Inn & Convention Center in June, 2017.
PROS: Terrific staff! All of them were just great and voluntarily helpful. Location is excellent with easy access to airport and newer office/industrial parks. Place is clean and inviting. Nice exterior appearance and comfortable large lobby. Good restaurant and bar/lounge in the hotel.
CONS: WiFi drops a lot - switches SSIDs without warning and tough to maintain connection. My room had only four electrical outlets, with three of them already in use with lamps, clock, coffee maker, etc. Had to unplug room amenities to charge my cell phones and use computer. Bathroom was clean, but older style fixtures and a "floating shower curtain" that wasn't weighted and clung to my legs when showering (air flow issue).
The place would be a showpiece in 1993. The staff and upkeep make it a worthwhile place to stay, though. Another CON but outside staff and management control is lack of proximity to good restaurants. A few strip mall places are across the parking lot, but not really much of anything you'd want for a nice meal and drinks with friends.
I'd stay here again, as there isn't anything glaring to keep me away. Good meeting rooms and the service / catering staff maintain the same excellent standards of friendly helpfulness. The staff really make this place worth returning to. Oh, and a marvelous Lunch Buffet!More
