We've eaten twice at the Station restaurant; which is the old and now converted Lake Louise train station. The ambience is warm and relaxing; and we have had excellent service and food during both visits. We will be back anytime we are in the area.
Make a reservation; while you may walk into a dining area that doesn't look busy, it's likely they have a number of reservations coming up shortly, and they won't be able to seat you. We were lucky on our first visit, but within 30 minutes of being seated they had a large party arrive and most of the restaurant was full by the time we left. Due to the location it also helps them plan for staffing and food prep each evening.
Note: the restaurant will be closed from April 9th until mid May as the ski season winds down, and the summer season winds up.
