The Post Hotel is a beautifully designed and maintained hotel in Lake Louise. While it is not located on the lake (as is the famous Fairmont Chateau), in my opinion in a much more desirable location on the river where it is intimate and and away from the touristy crowds of the lake. It takes just a few minutes drive to get to the lake. The green lawns are dotted with colorful Adirondack chairs and tables and the gorgeous flower boxes are an attraction themselves. Inside the lobby feels like someone's gorgeous home furnished with plush comfy chairs and couches. The spa and fitness center, while not large, are outfitted nicely with modern equipment and amenities, and the indoor pool area has a lovely hot tub and steam room to compliment the cooler waters of the lap pool. The food and service is exceptional, and the owners will roam the dining room asking guests if they are enjoying their stay. Upstairs there is a gorgeous library and sitting room with loads of books and games for guests to enjoy. The only disappointing part of the stay was our room, on the first floor of the inn, was a little smaller than we anticipated. It was updated, and had a terrace, but we found the full size bed to be just ok. We also had no plugs next to our bedside for plugging in our cell phones. That was provided on the desk area across the room. The room had no air conditioning or ceiling fan but a tower fan was provided. The windows in the room, when open, were not sufficient for air flow if we wanted privacy - we had to draw the drapes to get the privacy from the courtyard. However, the bathroom tub had a jacuzzi and we found this to be very lovely after a day of hiking and biking. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. The river side cabins though looked divine. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great alternative to the mainstream Fairmont on the lake.

Set on the River, this Boutique Hotel has everything you want for a quiet or energetic holiday. In the summer, watch the glacier river flow..the colours are spectacular ..or look to the mountains for inspiration. The staff is International and the food in superb. If you can't stay the night..have a meal...no regrets!

This hotel is absolutely top notch and in my opinion is equal to if not better the the Chateau Lake Louise. We arrived with help getting luggage out of car, doors always opened for us. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing rooms and ours had a fireplace. Food excellent. Spa excellent . Really nothing but high praise all around. Great for those that ski and hike or just want to relax

Room tip: Do not get a room on the first floor. Apparently very noisy

Nestled just off the Transcanada highway you will find this amazing luxurious hotel. Wood wall and rock fireplaces set the atmosphere. The restaurant is pricey but worth every penny. The staff is top notch and if you are a wino, you will feel like you are in Wine Heaven. The wine list is very extensive and thanks to the Sommelier, you will find the perfect bottle to enjoy. In winter the hotel prepares a skating rink right out the lobby doors. Speaking of lobby, it is the little details that set this hotel above most. Personal service, coffee, water, flowers... all waiting to make your stay SPECIAL. I highly recommend the POST HOTEL. Just off the beaten path yet close enough to everything to do in Lake Louise. Have a fabulous time. I am confident you will love it!

We have not been in awhile - but certainly the best holiday memories are from here. We used to rent one of the cabins on the creek in November, heavenly. Wood burning fireplace, superior beds and bedding and heated towel racks and floors! Not to mention excellent staff in all areas! Food that is still dreamt about. Will hopefully return in 2018!
