Gorgeous Hotel with beautiful rooms that combine classic rustic mountain style with pure luxury and first class amenities in an extraordinary setting. We were warmly greeted on arrival and experienced perfect service our entire stay. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and the creekside setting is enchanting. Our stay was the highlight of our Canadian Rockies vacation.

Room Tip: paying a little extra for the rooms facing the creek is worthwhile although the mountain setting on the other side is lovely too

If you like rustic and luxury, this is the place. This hotel is actually located in Lake Louise Village and has elegant cabins, as well as regular hotel rooms. From our room we had the view of a river and snow capped mountains. We had a balcony and large windows to enjoy the scenery, along with a wood burning fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. The fireplace was completely set up. All you needed to do was light a match. I loved it. The staff were truly exceptional. They were helpful and friendly without being stuffy. This is not the place where you want a microwave and refrigerator in your room. Rather this is the place where you want to eat dinner in the main dining room, which has a great menu. The gym, steam room, jacuzzi (with mountain view) and grotto-like swimming pool were wonderful extras and kept exceptionally clean. We will most certainly return. Thank you for a really stellar experience.

Room Tip: Get a room with a river view.

We recently stayed at the Post Hotel for 3 nights and what a pleasant experience it was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. When we got there, we decided we wanted to change rooms to the opposite side of the hotel so we could have a room on a higher level floor. The staff was so accommodating in helping us to make the switch and we were so happy to have a room with a fireplace and a view of the mountains. They even set the fireplace up for you every day. The location is perfect for getting to places around Lake Louise and also convenient to the highway for getting to places outside of town. We ate in the pub on our first night - terrific meal in a cozy spot. On our last night we had dinner in the main dining restaurant. What an amazing experience and food. WOW! Plan ahead for groceries if you want to have essentials with you. The one store in town in limited and extremely expensive. We got what we needed there though. All in all a fantastic experience. We will definitely return to the Post Hotel in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for room with a fireplace, trains are not noisy so don't be afraid of rooms in the front of the hotel.

A beautiful hotel with excellent staff, afternoon tea, excellent restaurants and service. The grounds and views are nice. I would be happy staying for a week just to relax. Very attentive Swiss owner brothers who really know their business! We will be back.

This is a first class experience, at least as far as I am concerned. Incredibly nice rooms for that mountain experience. Staff or attentive and very friendly. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and don't only stay at this fine hotel but make a reservation in their dining room to experience the complete package.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony so you can sit out, enjoy the mountain air while sipping on your favorite glass of wine or beverage.
