Came accross this property by sheer accident....It is well hidden from the main road....at first, we thought it was a hostel! Upon further investigation, we found out that it is far from a hostel....in fact , it is on the same groove as the Banff Springs, the Chateau Lake Louise, or the Jasper Park Lodge.....now, we didnot stay here, but we did eat in the restaurant, which was outstanding! And very reasonablly priced as well......the staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were very accommodating and friendly....we were given a brief tour of the hotel and brochures to look at with price lists for the assorted rooms....we found the little cabins along the river quite attractive and very cosy........nothing but great things to say about this property........we will be returning as customers later this month.........

Beautiful hotel, with gorgeous grounds, and a view to match. The hotel and staff were all wonderful. The beds were very comfy, and the jacuzzi tub was a welcome end to a long tiring day. We ended up here due to the mud slide this summer, and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by how well we were treated and how welcoming the entire hotel was. The price is on the high end, but if you want to be treated well and enjoy such a scenic location, then this is your place!

We only stayed here one night, but it is a stunning hotel. The gardens and lodges are immaculately kept, the rooms are large and the bathroom luxurious. The staff could not do enough to help you and we're curtious without being overbearing. The only problem was they were suffering from a powercut. We were told it would be back on by 8pm, so we booked a table at the restaurant for 8.30pm, thinking we could shower & freshen up after a long day. The power did not return until after we had gone to bed, so we went for dinner feeling more than a little grubby. The restaurant was very nice and the food delicious, but even for Al a Carte it was very overpriced (a bottle of Pinot was $68!). We maybe would've made more of the evening if we'd felt a bit fresher! The bathroom had a jacuzzi, but again we couldn't use it due to the power cut, so we left the following morning feeling a little cheated. It was a beautiful hotel, we just wished we could have made the most of the facilities for the price we paid! (no recompense was offered, just an apple and some water for our ongoing journey,)

Room Tip: Any of the rooms in the hotel would not be a disappointment!

Beautiful hotel. Great service. Fabulous food. Perfect place for a romantic fireside getaway. One tip - ask for a room along the riverside instead of the mountainside to avoid any noise from the passing trains at night.

What an amazing location. The entire property is immaculately kept. The view of the river, sounds of the river and aromas of the surrounding pine trees was pure ecstacy. Our room was small and the cost was much more than we would normally pay but the value was worth the effort. The pool, steam room and spa were awesome. The close proximity to the mountains and Lake Louise was a bonus. We had one meal in the hotel restaurant and pub. The food was good but not worth the prices we paid.

Room Tip: Highly recommend a room on the east side for a view of the river. Left our balcony door open at nigh...
