Lake Louise is an awesome ski area, with terrain for all levels and enough space that you don't feel jam packed.

We had a fun day snowshoeing with Daniel. There were four of us that purchased the tour through Groupon at a great price.  Luckily two were able to borrow boots and a jacket as theirs weren't quite right (wouldn't be much fun if you weren't dressed appropriately - layers is best). We really enjoyed the parts of the tour that went through the forested areas; stunningly beautiful and very serene. Parts of the tour went through the ski hill as well as the ski-out.  The tour was quite informative - Daniel stopped periodically to give us information on various aspects of the region (wildlife, vegetation, history, etc...). We stopped for a hot chocolate break in the morning and then for lunch a couple hours later, both which were included in the tour price. Daniel is a great guide with a good sense of humour. We had a really good day and recommend the tour!

If you want to plan an amazing surprise, you should contact ADRIAN BEERS, who is the Director of Food and Beverage at Lake Louise Ski Resort. He organized a surprise lunch for me and my boyfriend with champagne and cheese fondue!

Amazing restaurant and service!

A friend and I booked a quick 2 people-2 hours Snow Shoeing tour and Sasha was our tour guide person. She’s extremely kind and fun to hang out with. She takes her time in explaining everything and make sure we had lots of fun during the hiking around. We got to skip the line for the gondola and then a cheap upgrade for tubing after the snow Shoeing tour.
The huge altitude difference made it hard for me to breathe but Sasha kept a good pace for us to follow around. She gave us a little info about the area, brought us some yummy hot chocolate and granola bar.
It wasn’t a perfect day for Snow Shoeing due to the 98% snowing weather but I’m glad we got Sasha to guide us around.

Lake Louise combines stunning scenery with runs that cater to every capability level. There are so many options that even on a busy day, you can find space to enjoy the skiing. The Ski School is first class. Every instructor I worked with were of the highest quality but I would give a shout out to Stuart from Aberdeen for a couple of great days.

Everything from lessons, to passes and rentals can be arranged online and all conveniently located in the Lodge at the foot of the mountain.
