Stayed a Saturday night in late March. Check in was quick and easy, young woman at front desk friendly and helpful. Had a deluxe room on second floor of hotel with a balcony and a sweeping valley view. Was a little concerned about traffic noise from Trans-Canada Highway below, but that was not an issue. Bed was a little soft, but comfortable. Had a three course, prix-fixe dinner in the Bistro, which was excellent, and fairly priced. Jiri, the young man from the Czech Republic who seated us was friendly, and went out out of his way to recommend several local bars and restaurants for us to visit on our upcoming trip to Prague. Really enjoyed our stay at The Juniper, and will definitely return next time we're in Banff.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms with balconies have sweeping views of the valley.

An excellent experience with 180 deg mountain view. We stayed at the hotel for one night. Staff and service were great! The Bistro is fantastic! Gotta try the steak n eggs.. Downtown Banff is across the highway.

This is by far the most relaxing hotel we’ve booked in Banff. It is on the other side of the busy town and the view are just so beautiful. The room is spacious and have a little balcony which made us appreciate the view even more. So quiet and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

My wife, myself and our dog stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with 2 days of skiing at Mt. Norquay. The room was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bistro food and service was excellent. The hotel is very close to the ski area, had lots of parking for a full size vehicle.

the Juniper is a great boutique hotel just on the fringe of Banff directly adjacent to the highway. The only disadvantage of the Juniper is that it is not in convenient walking distance of down town Banff. However it is just a short taxi ride. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed the hot tub which was located outside the ground floor corridor with a view towards Banff. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner, and I got a 25% discount on brekky with a current ski pass on display. The staff were friendly and attentive and I would definitely stay there again. When I booked I got a very good price for the room so was very happy with my stay at the Juniper.great place for a quiet couples stay.

Room Tip: It does not matter as the highway is set down from the hotel so both sides are good for views
